Summoned and Unwanted

Chapter 662

*Sigh* Vincent gently shook his head.

“I do not think you would ever be able to guess how many times I had to wash your body with warm water. ” Vincent said as if he was washing troublesome clothes.

The truth was different than what was possibly passing through Awa’s mind. If she knew, she would be angry for various reasons.

The reason? Vincent didn’t think of Awa as a woman while trying to save her life. The more he tried to save the life of poor Awa, the more it felt similar to a chore that could prove emotionally rewarding in the end.

In fact, Vincent questioned if he should treat Awa like a person or like a corpse after a while of doing this. Her body was thin from starvation, and Vincent’s fingers touched more bones than body fat.

Furthermore, Vincent got to know how surgeons felt while treating patients without clothes on. The moment the surgeon focuses on helping a person, unnecessary thoughts of lust are disregarded. If not, then the surgeon would fail most of his surgeries.

Awa slowly leaned upwards and covered her chest even if she was wearing a shirt. Inside, the Pocket Cabin was warm, and there was no need to wear a lot of clothing.

Awa stared at Vincent in disbelief. She couldn’t comprehend how Vincent didn’t mince his words and talked casually straight in her face.

.....

Not many people would like to hear how a stranger mentioned washing their body many times without their consent. The more casually Vincent spoke and acted as if it wasn’t a big deal, the more Awa became frightened and confused.

“Remember to move slowly for now.” *Yawn* “There is no need to act cautious around me. I could have done what you probably are imagining, but I saved your life and treated you well instead. So, I hope you can start lowering your guard around me sometime soon.”

‘Are his words the truth, or did he lust over my Dullahan body with the best warrior blood existing in the world?’ Awa started to doubt if Vincent’s words were the truth or if he was spouting believable lies. However, Vincent’s next words made Awa regret doubting her judgment.

“I fed you multiple potions mouth-to-mouth last night. So do not worry about me washing you anymore. You should be strong enough to wash on your own.” *Yawn* Vincent rubbed his eyes and continued, “I can wash you again if you can’t...”

“AHHHH!!!!” Awa shouted loudly. Hearing how Vincent fed her potions mouth-to-mouth was her last straw. She felt utterly humiliated as her pride of a proud Dullahan was sullied.

“Is Awa Awa feeling ouchies again?” *Pho?*

“Stay away from me, you vicious, hungry fox!” Awa moved her hands to grab the pillow, but her hands couldn’t grasp the pillow with a good hold, nor could she lift the pillow without exerting herself.

*Pho!* “Plow is a good girl.” Plow looked at Vincent with googly eyes and asked, “Is Plow a good girl?” *Pho?*

Vincent went over to Plow. He lifted the sad little fox and stroked her sofy blue fur. “Plow, do not mind what Awa told you. She needs to accept that I tried to save her life, even if she doesn’t feel good about it.”

*Pho...* “Was Plow wrong to help Awa Awa?”

“No, Plow. We did the right and moral thing. Living is better than death.” Vincent moved his gaze onto Awa and continued, “Only the dead know if Valhalla exists or not. Only the living can enjoy their time in this world with their family before time takes them away.”

*Sniffle, sniffle* Awa raised her hand to cover her face. “Don’t look at my body anymore... I can’t take this amount of shame... please agree to kill me in combat...”

[I am starting to feel sorry for her now. I know you did everything to save her life, but to know someone touched your body without permission can sound...]

-Bad, right?- Vincent continued the sentence.

After Vincent became surrounded by women and got used to living the life of owning a personal harem, Vincent realized how he had become bold with certain things.

“Ahem. No matter what I did to save your life, I did it without lusting over your skinny body. I am a gentleman and not a pervert.”

Awa lowered her hands to reveal a frown with a pair of teary eyes. She knew her Dullahan body was sought after by humans because Dullahans in the southern continent were rare.

Not only that but all Dullahans are born with mana. They also awaken into the warrior class. This was the reason the Dullahan race started to become proud of their warrior blood, even those like Awa, who didn’t awaken into a warrior class yet.

This meant humans in the southern continent were all slave traders in the eyes of the Dullahans. Vincent was seen as a slave trader, and the actions he took to save a person who didn’t want to be saved because of feeling shame didn’t award a sliver of trust.

*Sigh* “Responsibility, right? I can take responsibility for saving your life.”

“Marry me?”

[Ohh! This is getting spicy, hehe.]

“Marriage? Well, you can become one of my wives if you want. But only if they accept you.”

Awa didn’t like Vincent’s response one bit. Awa had mistaken Vincent for a widower after hearing how his wife also suffered from cold.

Awa believed only the Dullahan race could withstand the cold with the warrior wills. Thus, anyone not a Dullahan would die from the cold she suffered from.

While Ester was believed to be dead, the part about having multiple wives sounded worse to Awa now.

‘Am I being treated like his pet?’ She questioned and assumed Vincent treated women like a commodity, similar to how she was washed and massaged as he was washing and petting a pet like Plow.

[Hehe. Look at her face. She really hates you now. But I wonder if the harem invitation can win over this prideful woman.]

*Sigh* -You and your harem again...-

Awa glared with teary eyes at Vincent now. She pondered deeply about how to get out of this situation or force Vincent to attack and hopefully kill her in combat.

The more Awa pondered, the more it made her head hurt.

All the strategies Awa had learned didn’t provide any assistance for this current situation. The man who single-handedly killed two magic beasts in less than two minutes could overpower any strategy or escape she could devise.

Vincent noticed Awa touching her forehead as if she had a headache. He slowly approached to place Plow on the bed and let the little fox do her magic with her cuteness.

“Go away, perverted slave trader! You touched my body without my permission to many...” *Cough. Cough*

Vincent summoned a cup of water. He reached out his arm and presented the cup in front of Awa. “Drink this water. It will help you with your coughing.”

“Drink drink.” *Pho*

Awa quickly grabbed the cup with difficulty and gulped the water in mere seconds. She placed the cup in Vincent’s hand and pulled the bedsheet to cover her body, even if she was wearing clothes.

“Are you fine now?”

“Don’t patronize me. You have already had your way with my body, but my resilient Dullahan heart will never be yours.”

“Awa, tell me the honest truth. Don’t you want to be helped?” Vincent placed Plow on the bed and held the cup in front of Awa, yet out of her reach. “You could have broken the glass and used the largest shard as a weapon, yet you kept complaining about how horrible of a human I am.”

“I saved your life at the cost of a lot of money. But I am not going to make you a slave to pay the debt of saving your life.” Vincent gently shook his head. *Sigh* “I am a human and not a slave trader. Remember that anyone can become a slave trader since it is a job.”

Vincent stored the empty glass and sat on the bed. “If you were stronger than me, you could be the one making me a slave with the distrust you have against your savior.”

“Right.” *Pho!* “Vincent Vincent is kind. Vincent Vincent bought Plow, and now Plow is very very happy. Everyone likes Plow.” *Pho ?*

Plow walked to Vincent and affectionately rubbed her head against Vincent’s lap. Plow slyly looked at Awa cutely and acted as if Awa could pet if she stopped calling the cute little fox vicious and hungry for her flesh.

‘He... he is right... I could have used the glass as a weapon, even if it is cowardly to use food and drinking items as tools of combat.’ Awa thought while feeling unhappy to have let such slip past her fingers.

“I...” Awa shook her head to retain her conviction and stop herself from wavering. “I will not fall for your tricks.”

“You defiled my body...” Awa couldn’t keep talking without her cheeks lightly turning red. She covered her face from the shame and humiliation she felt thinking about what Vincent had done to her.

“Even if there is a slight chance your words are true, I can’t return home. I can not return to my parents. Not after a human... a man I don’t know washed and touched every nook and cranny of my body...”
